This is War

Seriously, this video is amazing. If you are even a somewhat fan of The Vampire Diaries, you must watch it. Scratch that-no matter if you’re a fan or not, watch it. Because this is the most legendary fanvid I have ever seen.

I am SUPER excited for season 3 of TVD. (Don’t you love how that rhymes?) They showed a new clip at Comic-Con for the new season, but since I wasn’t there, I haven’t seen it, and nobody has uploaded it yet.

I know I have about a bajillion posts about this particular show, but they deserve it. This show has been just getting better and better *touch wood* *was just kidding about touch wood* *knocks on wood* *because I learned to knock on wood, not touch it* *thinking touch wood is a little weird* *no offense to people who touch wood* *everybody’s got different superstitions*

I am a little worried about season 3. I probably shouldn’t be. The Vampire Diaries has never failed me. (Except-I don’t like Bonnie. At all. I liked her in the beginning, but now…Not to say that in this aspect TVD has failed me, I’m just saying. Everybody has characters they don’t like.) It’s just…It’s probably just me. When I don’t know how people are going to work things out, I doubt them. I doubted Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2. I knew it was going to be fantastic, but I was concerned about the epilogue. Goes to show-Never doubt Harry Potter. But here’s what I’m thinking- I’m hoping they don’t jump into the whole Damon and Elena thing too quick. I’m so glad we got to see Elena reciprocate some feelings toward Damon finally, because now it’s actually a love triangle. Before it was sort of…A love line.

But now that we see that Elena likes Damon now, just the way he is. (I’m sorry, I had to:D) It looks more like this-

Or a triangle, if you prefer. I sort of like the idea of a line better, though, to be honest. Anyway, we’re finally getting to the basis of the story. I know that there were fights between Stefan and Damon because of Elena, and that has the love triangle feeling to it, but I never truly thought it was a love triangle until now.

I am way excited for Jeremy’s new storyline. First of all, I love Jeremy. I think he’s awesome and he deserves happiness. That’s why, despite my dislike for Bonnie, I was glad when they got together. Because both of Jeremy’s girlfriends died. AND, Jeremy himself has died twice already. In the season 2 opening, when Damon killed him, but he came back to life because of his super cool supernatural ring. And also in the season finale, when Sheriff Forbes tried to shoot at Damon, but Damon quickly dodged it with his vamp powers, and hit Jeremy, who was unfortunately right behind him. I couldn’t believe it when it happened. I’m like, “No! They can’t kill off Jeremy! He’s the only family Elena’s got left!” + he’s just a cool character. So Bonnie, with her witchy-woo-woo, saved him with the help of the 100 dead witches, but since she had been leaning on them a lot lately, they said there would be consequences. What are those consequences? Well, now that you’ve asked, Jeremy can now see dead people! Or, um, he’s…being haunted? Ghosts or something…? The point is-he gets one of the most awesome storylines! Plus, I loved Anna, so I’m glad she’s back. I didn’t really like Vicki all that much, what with her being a major stoner and not a good influence of Jeremy, who just did drugs because his parents died.

And I’m going to mention another thing. This isn’t a storyline in the show. So-Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev are dating, albeit not “officially”. I don’t like to know this kind of stuff. If I’m ever on a TV show, I am not going to date anyone before the series is officially over. I know this is a pretty unpopular opinion that I don’t like them together. It’s not that I don’t want either of them to be happy, it’s just that sometimes outside, real-life, things the actors do skew what I think about the TV show. And I always worry it affects their work, or something. I just don’t like to think about their real relationships with people. I mean, if they break up, wouldn’t it be weird for them to be doing a ton of scenes together? And what if the writers notice and are being compassionate towards them and decide to not go with Delena? But I guess I just have to trust that these are professional actors and writers, and that it won’t affect their work.

Anyway, I’ve just been thinking a lot about TVD lately. Especially since they were just at Comic-Con (I am SO going next year.)
